We recently participated in an Erasmus+ project in Białystok, Poland. It was a great opportunity to improve our English, practice public speaking, and build connections across borders.
The project focused on disinformation. We explored how fake news spreads online and affects society, even creating our own false stories to better understand the mechanisms behind them and why people fall for them.
At a local school, we gave a presentation on online safety, emphasizing the importance of fact-checking before sharing information. We also introduced the students to Erasmus+ and the personal growth opportunities it offers.
We volunteered at a community organization assisting people in need, which highlighted the importance of solidarity and teamwork. Overall, the project boosted our confidence in English, gave us practical tools to evaluate information, and created lasting memories. 🔍
