From 25 to 29 May, we took part in the international project “Think Twice (It’s Alright)” in Kaluža, Slovakia.
The project was developed as a response to the critical rise of manipulative content and Russian information warfare. Throughout the exchange, our main focus was to better understand how media systems work in our respective countries, develop stronger critical thinking skills when dealing with disinformation, and explore practical ways to recognize and fight the spread of false or misleading information.
To gain a deeper understanding of how propaganda and media can influence society, we took part in a study visit to the Museum of the Victims of the Communist Regime in Košice. There, we learned how propaganda and misinformation were able to affect an entire country over the course of many years and discussed the long-term impact they can have on society. As a result of this exchange, we contributed to a joint booklet that summarizes our shared experience, the knowledge we gained, and the key lessons we learned throughout the project. 🧠
